On this one day tour, we will leave Siem Reap province and head towards the Thai border. Here you will see one of the most magnificent temples built during the Khmer Empire, Prasat Preah Vihear. This Hindu temple was built on a 500m tall hilltop and sits on the cliff’s edge.
After lunch, we’ll head back towards Siem Reap to go and see Koh Ker temple. This pyramid style temple is one of the earliest temples to be built and predates Angkor Wat and other temples in the area.
Please note: All guests need to wear appropriate clothing around the temples. You will need to have your shoulders and knees covered. Cambodia is also a very hot and humid country, so please wear some light cotton clothing. The winter months (Nov – Feb) are a bit cooler, but it can still get very hot in the afternoons.
